Omago is one of the quickest growing car sharing company in Finland and well on their way to be the market leader in the country. With Drivecos support Omago has been able to create unique, strongly customer oriented business model and make their business profitable.
Our partnership started in 2018 with 2 cars and today Omago has over 300 cars equipped with Driveco Sharing solution.
Driveco provides the backend for the Omago application and our solution has been proven to be flexible enough to support various needs of the Omago service model.
The whole Omago service ecosystem includes Drivecos web-based mobile interface, Omagos mobile app utilising Driveco API and Driveco administered tools for managing the customers, cars and financial transactions. Through all of this Omago has full control of all the relevant aspects of their business.

Our Sharing partners are typically Leasing companies, Independent sharing operators, Parking space operators, Business Centre/Residential building owners and Student housing operators. All our projects and solutions combined, we work with many leading companies in the car industry.
Our partner network already includes OEMs like Toyota, Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, Kia, Renault and Lexus as well as other industry leaders like ALD Automotive, Aimo Parking, Secto Sharing (one of the leading leasing companies in Finland) and Omago (Leading car sharing operator in Finland).
Secto is a big local leasing company in Finland. Their core customers are SME companies in Finland and municipality organisations. As one their service they offer student housing companies a flexible and brandable car sharing platform. The platform acts as base on top of which the companies can freely build their own car sharing system including own pricing and end user services. The end users, in this case the students living in the appartment, can register to the service and after getting approved by student housing officer, every car in the system will be available for them to use.
Secto leases the cars to the student housing company normally. The cars are equipped with Driveco technology which enables the entire service. The accompanied application is branded for Secto and the housing company to provide a unique service and business model for all parties.
Usage rate for these services is good and the service is trusted by the students. Car models are selected for students preferation, typically EV vehicles, and the cars are located near the housing for effective use and maintenance. In addition to offering the technology, Driveco supports this business by taking care of the payments and crediting those monthly to the housing company.

EV Mindset
We are an experienced agile team based in Finland and operating all over the world, currently in 40 different countries. In addition to helping our partners to grow their business, we are especially keen on promoting the benefits of electric vehicles. With our partners we have already built many products and services that introduce electric vehicels and their features to the end customers.
Our electrified vehicle promoting and test drive excitement raising platform was first developed for a project together with Toyota Finland, where the intention was to utilize data for explaining how Toyota’s hybrid-electric vehicles work.
At first, Toyota Finland only wanted to track one hybrid, while it drove around Finland, and after a positive experience they equipped all their dealerships with the possibility to offer test drive data to all test drive customers. After a while, the platform had become a steady feature of their test drive process, and simultaneously Toyota Motor Europe had picked up on this concept and started promoting it to other markets.
In the end, almost all European markets were utilizing our solution for digitalizing the test drive customer journey, gaining better visibility of actions and bottlenecks in the sales funnel, and supporting the customer’s purchasing decision through data providing tangible benefits of the model in question. All these measures have led to a more standardized test drive process of better quality, in the form of better customer experience and better sales conversion. Currently Driveco solution is in use in over 50 000 Toyota vehicles in over 20 countries.
Endless possibilities
Driveco’s solution is based on a small telematics device attached to the vehicle and an accompanied mobile or web-based application. This solution can be modified to fullfill various partner needs. Our current products include for example car sharing, fleet management and test drive digitalization and EV Event resources . We are also always open to engage in new product development projects with our partners. Currently we are working on bringing bike sharing and test drive gamification to our repertoire.
